Welcome to the Village of Arthur Illinois

Public Library

Arthur Public Library District

The Village of Arthur is proud to say we have had a public library since 1900.  In 1991, the library moved into their current location at 225 S. Walnut Street.

The Arthur Public Library is part of the Illinois Heartland Library System.  Some of the services our local library provides are free book checkouts and movie rentals, daily papers, computers, and of course books.  There is also a meeting room available for use by small groups.
