Area Parks

Brad-O-Clen is located northeast of Arthur.  There are signs on both the Arthur/Atwood Road and Rte. 36 providing directions to this facility.  Brad-O-Clen is made up of 34 acres along the Kaskaskia River.  It is surrounded by a wooded area suitable for tent camping and hiking trails.  It also includes a 700 sq. ft. cabin with kitchen, dining, and a large common area for social gatherings.  (There are no bedding areas.)  Brad-O-Clen was given to the Arthur Community Park District in 1996 and still remains the home of Arthur Boy Scout Troop 74.  For reservations, please contact the Park Superintendent at 217-543-2294.  Cabin Fees are:  $50 Daily
