The Arthur Police Department is a team of dedicated law enforcement professionals, committed to providing services, protection and a sense of security to our community. They provide our citizens 24 hour protection, 7 days a week.
Our Police Department is comprised of a full-time Chief of Police, a Police Sergeant, four additional full-time Police Officers. The day to day operations of the Department are the responsibility of Chief Michael S. Goodman.

is now accepting applications for the position of:
Full-Time Police Officer
with the Arthur Police Department.
Applicants must be 21 years of age and have
no felony convictions.
Current Certified Law Enforcement Officers
in the State of Illinois, or another State,
that have the ability to become laterally certified in Illinois,
are preferred.
Starting salary $43,680.00 - $52,000.00 depending on
qualifications and experience.
